Silver dish that combines the functionality of a table piece with the grandeur of classical Portuguese silversmithing.

The piece consists of a circular base dish and a removable lid.
It stands out for its wide, undulating, and shaped rim, enriched with meticulous engraved decoration (burin work) featuring stylized scroll and shell motifs.

The lid, with a smooth, polished dome, is crowned by an imposing central ring handle sculpted with acanthus leaves, resting on a chased rosette base.
The contrast between the smooth surfaces and the worked details gives the piece a remarkable aesthetic balance.

Its authorship is a mark of quality: it was manufactured by the prestigious Porto silversmith Manuel Alcino Figueiredo Moutinho (Casa Alcino), a reference in Portuguese luxury silverware. The piece was produced from 1937 onward and bears the 0.833 silver guarantee mark (Eagle), applied by the Porto Assay Office, certifying the authenticity and fineness of the precious metal.
